Dr Nani G Mahanta is a Reader and a coordinator, Peace and Conflict Studies in Gauhati University . Having done a two years course on Peace, Conflict & Human Rights Studies at University of California, Berkeley, USA , Dr Mahanta had completed his PhD on ‘State , Identity & Politics of Violence: ULFA & Vision of Peace in Assam’. Dr Mahanta had delivered lectured in different for a in various parts of the world and the Country. He also is involved in several voluntary works related to addressing conflict issues.
